This started out as a mix I could listen to when I went running. Then I started walking to work in The City from my home in the East End, so it seemed like a good idea to rename this for the area I would be walking through every morning. 80 minutes of uplifting, four-to-the-floor house music that puts a spring in my step ... in the Spring.

Urban DK vol 1, Jun 2011
The long-overdue first volume of Urban DK finally gets mixed down onto disk. I'd mixed volumes 3 & 2 (in that order back in 2004). So this is a bunch of older tunes ProTooled up and ready for a caning in the motor during the summer. Mostly quite underground dubby stuff but I chucked in a monster house-y remix of J-Lo doing "Waiting for Tonight" that just rocks. Keep your feet still? I think not ...

Technocality: House of Hardness vol 1, Jun 2011
Still in marching-to-work mode, I had a yen for some old school techno. I've never been a fan of the banging, in-yer-face stuff, but the slightly more genteel sounds of the likes of Circulation suit me quite well. So I dug back into the archives and put this together over a couple of weekends. For the cover, I overlaid some found art with some 1980s style House graphics and ... all done.
